How it works.
Follow leagues and teams
Football, basketball, American football, baseball, ice hockey, motorsport, combat sports, rugby, cricket, tennis and more.
Match cards
Each card uses both teams' colours and badges and shows the kick-off time, LIVE or the final score.
Watch on
The app checks your channels' TV guide, the broadcaster list and channel names to show where a match is on.
Built on Live TV
Sports needs Live TV on and plays through your own playlists and channels. It is hidden on Kids profiles.
Free key or premium key.
Match data comes from TheSportsDB; nothing streams from it.
Without a key
The free key shows the next match or two for each league or team a viewer follows.
With your premium key
Live scores, full schedules, match details such as line-ups, events, stats and highlights, and league tables.
Viewers' own keys
If you allow it, viewers can paste their own premium key on their device.
Set in the panel
Turn Sports on and add the key on the admin panel's Live TV page.
The streams are yours.
The app ships with no channels, and match data never includes video. Sports only shows matches on the playlists and channels you add, so only add streams you hold the rights to distribute.

Does the app stream sports?
It plays the live channels you add to Live TV. The sports centre adds fixtures, results and a Watch on list that points to those channels; the match data itself has no video.
Which sports does it cover?
Thirteen sports in the built-in list, including football, basketball, American football, baseball, ice hockey, motorsport, rugby, cricket and tennis, plus a team search.
Are there live scores?
With a premium TheSportsDB key, yes: live minute and score updates, full schedules, match details and league tables. Without one, viewers see the next match or two per league or team.
Is it on Android TV too?
Yes. The TV app has a Sports centre in the Live TV tab and a Sports row on Home. It's included in the Complete plan.
